New chewy tablet-confection technology can seal grooves before eating to prevent sugar being trapped and changed to acid while eating.
Edible powder material formulations or many of the powders that are in toothpaste can be compressed into a chewy sugarless/tablet confection that disintegrates into a salivary compressive mix under chewing pressure much of which is forced between teeth and into grooves assisted by a chewy dental foam strip.

These particles displace trapped food and are hard to remove. Consumed before eating they seal grooves and prevent sugar being changed to acid while eating. Chewing cheese before eating gives some of these benefits.

Consumed after eating the particles displace foods and leave the seal ready for the next meal or snack. Chewing dental foam also helps clean gum margins and iside grooves and can floss between teeth.

Chewing a barium sulphate tablet before a dental x-ray highlights potential or existing occlusal cavities.
